Leighsbridge has been awarded 3rd place in our catagory which is a fantastic achievement for us, to be picked out of all the estates in meath is great. We recieved a certificate and a cheque for 100 euro which will now go towards the new hedge we are planting. Thanks to everybody that helped out during the year as this prize is for the estate and everyone in it and not just the committee.

We are in the process of building a new sign for the estate in the form of a small humpback bridge which will be in the green area beside house number 1,We have had a great responce to this from local businesses who have kindly sponcored a lot of the materials for this,a list of sponcors can be seen on the relevent page on the website. As well as that we have been informed by Navan town council that they will erect signs at the road entrance to Waters Lane and Leighsbridge.

We would ask all residents ta be extra vigilant around our estate, for those of you that do not know ,the house on the waters lane entrance to our estate was broken into in the past few days. There has been some strange people seen around the estate over the past few weeks so just make sure if you see anything suspicious inform the committee or your neigbours....

Have to say a great day was had by all at this years fun day,the food was great and a big thank you to all the residents who brought all the goodies. The children enjoyed the extra treat of getting close to the action with Navan Fire Brigade who let the kids use the hoses and brought them for a spin in the engine, they also enjoyed the treasure hunt which really got them all thinking. The bad showers put a bit of a dampener on the day but thank god it cleared up well in the evening. Thanks again to everyone especially all our sponsors on the day and of coarse Navan Fire Brigade.
